We are inviting all our members and their communities to show up and stand up for LGBTQ+ communities in a time when we need so much support and care. All month we will be amplifying and celebrating our LGBTQ+ community voice and supporting Trans education and advocacy through events and fundraising. By calling us all in to listen and learn more about the API queer community we can mobilize and represent a stronger, inclusive, compassionate community together.

Help celebrate Pride Month with NAAAP and support a great cause! We are launching a month-long fundraising challenge to support the National Center for Transgender Equality (NCTE). This nonprofit organization advocates for the rights and well-being of transgender people in the United States. NCTE works to end discrimination, violence, and stigma against transgender people through education, policy change, and community empowerment.
Despite the important progress we’ve made towards equality, our trans community, and particularly trans people of color communities are still dealing with appalling violence, discrimination, and legislative-attack. Please continue to advocate and support Trans organizations like NCTE, doing this important work everyday.

To participate in the NAAAP chapter challenge simply donate using the button below. After you receive a donation receipt confirmation forward it to [email protected]. Let us know your name and which chapter you are donating in the name of to get chapter acknowledgment. NAAAP Pride will track the progress of each noted chapter and post a weekly leaderboard on our socials. The challenge will end on June 30th at 11:59 pm ET.
All donations will go directly to NCTE and are tax-deductible.

Pride and Prejudice: Addressing Anti-Trans Behavior and Violence
Calling in all allies and potential ally NAAAP members and communities for a consequential conversation about anti-trans conduct and how we can safely advocate for the community with good information and compassion. This will be an educational panel event focused on ways to advocate for Trans rights, the harm of current Anti-Trans legislation, and the connecting traits of Anti-Asian and the Anti-Trans behavior. We invite you to be a part of this important call to arms and be prepared to listen and learn from experienced and expert API LGBTQ+ professionals. Supporting educational information and resources will be provided to participants prior to the event.
