Our discussion with Dr. Kim Liu continues as she shares more about her coming out to her father. Although he was loving and accepting of the news, he had his own internal struggles and preconceived ideas of family and gender roles. We continue the conversation of coming out and the importance of being true to one’s self and how for Kim, she discovered that if she was coming from a place of love, people reacted to that energy and responded from a place of love.
